Convert Your Wix Website to WordPress

Own your website. Stop paying rising Wix fees. Rank higher on Google. We rebuild your Wix site in WordPress — pixel-accurate, SEO-ready, in 7 days.

Wix is famously the hardest platform to move off of — no export, no plugin, no one-click migration. That's exactly what we do for a living. Whether you have 5 pages or 95, a blog, a store, or a bookings system, we move it all.

You own it

Wix got you started. Here's why it's holding you back now.

Wix is a great starting point. It gets you online fast, looks professional out of the box, and handles the basics. But as your business grows, three specific Wix limits start to sting.

You don't actually own your website.

Wix hosts your site, owns your data, and controls what you can and can't do. There's no code export, no migration plugin, no way to take your site elsewhere if you ever want to leave. Your blog posts export only as plain text via RSS — no images, no formatting, no categories. Every year you stay, switching gets harder.

Wix hits walls as you grow.

100-page hard limit. Can't switch templates once chosen — everything rebuilds from scratch. Separate mobile editor that doesn't stay in sync with desktop. Google ranks WordPress sites higher on average than Wix sites. Once your business needs more than "a nice small site," Wix starts fighting you.

The monthly bill keeps growing.

$17–$159/month for the base plan, plus $10–$50/month for apps, plus 2–4% transaction fees on subscriptions and memberships (unless you're on the $159 Elite plan), plus Google Workspace email at $6/user/month. WordPress hosting stays flat at $15–$80/month — forever.

If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone. We move Wix sites to WordPress every week.

What you get with a Wix to WordPress migration

Every migration includes the full stack — not as add-ons. Your design, your content, your SEO, your freedom to own your website.

Pixel-accurate WordPress rebuild (Elementor or Gutenberg — visual editing, still easy)
Every page from your Wix site — hero, about, services, contact, all of it
Wix blog posts migrated — text, images, categories, tags, authors, dates
Wix Store → WooCommerce (zero platform fees forever)
Wix Bookings → Amelia or Simply Schedule Appointments
Wix Forms → Fluent Forms, WPForms, or Contact Form 7
Custom domain transferred (or DNS updated to new host)
Full on-page SEO: Rank Math, schema markup, XML sitemap, Open Graph
301 redirects from every Wix URL — your Google rankings preserved
Core Web Vitals pass (typically faster than your current Wix site)
Mobile responsive — one design that works everywhere (no separate mobile editor)
Training video so you can edit the site yourself — just like Wix
14 days of post-launch support

From Wix to ranking WordPress site in 7 days

One predictable process. No surprises, no scope creep, no "it's almost done."

1
Day 1

Free Audit

Share your Wix site link. We inventory every page, blog post, product, form, booking type, and Wix app you use — then send a fixed quote within 24 hours. No sales call unless you want one. We tell you what moves easily, what takes more work, and the exact cost before you commit.

2
Days 2–5

Rebuild

Pixel-accurate WordPress build in your chosen editor. Every page from Wix recreated — same fonts, same colors, same layouts, same mobile responsive behavior. We work on a staging site so your Wix site stays live and active throughout the build.

3
Day 6

Content + SEO

Blog posts imported from your Wix RSS feed — then we manually add back images, categories, and tags that Wix's export strips out. Products migrated to WooCommerce. Bookings and forms rebuilt. Full SEO setup: schema, sitemap, Rank Math, Search Console submission, 301 redirects from every Wix URL.

4
Day 7

Handoff

DNS cutover from Wix to your new WordPress host. Personal training video walking you through editing the site. 14 days of support. You own the WordPress admin, every asset, and your monthly cost drops immediately. Your Wix subscription can be cancelled the same day.

FAQ

Wix to WordPress — frequently asked questions

I heard Wix is impossible to migrate. Is that true?
Wix is the hardest platform to migrate from — that part is true. There's no export, no plugin, no one-click tool. Every page has to be manually recreated. But "hardest" doesn't mean impossible — it just means you need someone who knows Wix's limitations and the right WordPress tools. We migrate Wix sites every week. The 7-day timeline is real.
Will I lose my Google rankings when moving from Wix to WordPress?
Not if it's done right. We set up 301 redirects from every Wix URL to the matching WordPress URL before launch. Google reads these and transfers your rankings to the new site. Rankings typically stay stable, and most sites actually see improvement within 30–60 days because WordPress gives us access to better SEO tools (schema markup, faster loading, Rank Math).
What happens to my Wix blog posts?
Wix exports blog posts as an RSS feed — text and dates only, no images or categories. We import that into WordPress as a starting point, then manually re-attach images (pulled from your Wix CDN), re-add categories and tags, fix formatting, and set up authors. The final WordPress blog has everything your Wix blog had, plus proper SEO fields you never had before.
Can you migrate my Wix Store to WooCommerce?
Yes, and this is one of the best reasons to migrate. Wix Store products, variants, categories, and images all move to WooCommerce. Customer accounts and order history can be migrated with most Wix Store setups. The big win: WooCommerce has zero platform transaction fees — forever — on any plan. Wix Elite at $159/month is the only Wix tier with 0% fees.
What happens to my Wix Bookings or other Wix apps?
Every major Wix app has a proven WordPress replacement. Wix Bookings → Amelia or Simply Schedule Appointments. Wix Forms → Fluent Forms, WPForms, or Contact Form 7. Wix Chat → Tawk.to, Tidio, or Crisp. Wix Events → The Events Calendar. Wix Restaurants → FoodPress or similar. We handle each app migration as part of the project — and usually save you money because most WordPress equivalents are free.
Will my custom domain transfer?
Yes. Your domain belongs to you, not to Wix. On handoff day, we update the DNS to point from Wix to your new WordPress host — visitors see the same website address but the new site underneath. If your domain is registered at Wix, you can also transfer it away to a registrar like Namecheap or GoDaddy where yearly renewal is cheaper (around $12–$17 vs. Wix's $17.35).
Will my WordPress site look exactly like my Wix site?
Yes, pixel-accurate. Every font, color, spacing value, responsive breakpoint, and interaction matches your Wix original. The few things that look different are usually improvements — more consistent spacing, cleaner mobile behavior, faster loading. We flag anything that can't be 1:1 matched in the free audit before we start.
How long does a Wix to WordPress migration take?
Most Wix projects finish in 5–7 days. Small sites (5–10 pages, no blog): 3–4 days. Multi-page sites with blog: 5–7 days. Wix Stores with large product catalogs: 10–14 days. Sites using many Wix apps (Bookings + Forms + Events): add 1–2 days per complex app. You'll get an exact timeline in your free audit.
How much will I save compared to my Wix subscription?
Typical Wix users on Core ($29) + apps ($10–$50) + email ($6/user) end up at $45–$100/month. WordPress hosting runs $15–$80/month flat — no app fees, no transaction fees on subscriptions. Most of our Wix migrations save $300–$900/year starting month one, plus you own the website. After 2 years, the migration has typically paid for itself entirely.
Can I edit the WordPress site myself afterwards, like I did with Wix?
Yes — and this is the most important answer on this page. We build every Wix migration with Elementor or Gutenberg, which are visual drag-and-drop editors just like Wix. You click to edit text, drag to move sections, upload images from the media library. Your personal training video covers exactly how to do what you already did on Wix. No code. No developer needed. You stay in control of your content.
